Baseboards

A part of a hardwood floor refinishing project that is often an after thought are the baseboards.  New baseboards can be a major compliment to the room as a whole.  If you just installed new baseboards or just repainted the baseboards and are happy with them, then they don't need to be removed.  I can refinish right up to the edge.

If however, your baseboards are a bit older, then perhaps now would be the time to consider replacing them.  As part of my initial visit to your home I will give you two options for your baseboards:

Options

1. Leave the baseboards and I can sand and refinish right up to the edge.
2. I will remove the baseboards and replace with new baseboards after the floor is refinished.
   
   

If you decide to have me replace your baseboards I will paint or stain to your liking prior to installation, then touch up once installed.  In most cases, the baseboard work can be completed after the furniture is moved back into the room.  You and I will determine this part of the project during my initial visit.
